Grounds

This section collects CRIC INFO 365’s guides to the grounds of the Big Bash League 2026-27.

In T20 cricket, the venue often decides more than the teams. Some Australian grounds have short boundaries and fast outfields where 200 is a normal score. Others have long square boundaries, extra bounce or slower pitches that reward spinners and smart batting. Knowing the difference helps you read a match, pick a fantasy team and understand why a result went the way it did.

Each ground guide covers the location and home team, how the pitch usually behaves, typical first innings scores, the record of teams batting first and chasing, and the kinds of players who do well there.

We update these guides as the season goes on, so the numbers reflect how each pitch is actually playing this summer rather than in past years. They link directly to the match previews played at each venue.
